Responsible for communicating P4P, IHA/AHA opportunities and Gaps in Care from VCC’s Managed Care Partners (MCO’s) to staff, tracking incentive opportunities and working with MCO’s on data and information workflow, to maximize quality initiatives and incentive payouts.

  • Track health plan requirements
  • Facilitate actions with inter-departmental teams to maximize managed care incentive revenue, working closely with other departments as needed
  • Responsible for data entry and management of dashboards for all health plans
  • Establish and maintain direct communication with health plan point of contact pertaining to Quality programs and P4P opportunities
  • Oversee access to plan portals and data systems
  • Respond to ad-hoc meetings with payers
  • Schedule, coordinate and attend quarterly meetings with MCO’s to maximize partnerships and address process issues
  • Attend webinar trainings, conferences and meetings pertaining to VCC’s managed care contracts and Quality/HEDIS/P4P opportunities
  • Facilitate accurate and timely information flow between VCC and the MCO’s including:
    • Collect information from MCO’s
    • Disseminate information to VCC staff as appropriate
    • Support initiatives for supplemental data transfer to the MCO’s
    • Confirm data is received by MCO’s
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in the data submission process
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature review, in-service meetings and workshops
  • Support the vision, mission and goals, and demonstrate a commitment to the values, of the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certificate and/or MS in Health Care Informatics
  • Valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes; minimum two years’ driving experience; no more than 2 violations or a single ticket/accident value at more than 1 point on driving record


  • Knowledge about MCO's
  • 1-3 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle
